Separation from “I Can’t”
August 2, 2008
Today I thought about how we can sometimes limit ourselves from accomplishing things because of our connection with “I can’t”. Sometimes the phrase “I can’t” comfort our minds and provides us with the familiar feeling of being complacent.
I am here to say that “I can’t” is a deceiver and doesn’t want the best for us. “I can’t” likes to be careful not wanting to revisit any past disappointments and never likes to take risks. “I can” on the other hand is real in your face, taking on anyone or anything.
Although “I can” may require change and work, it is to our advantage. “I can” will drag you out of bed to motivate and inspire you to achieve all your goals. “I can” acts in faith and sees our road ahead before we do and guides us down the right path.
We can create anything we want with the power of our minds. Let us break ourselves free from past hurt, fear, and rejection. Forget about hereditary patterns, cultural barriers, race or sex. Let us start focusing on unleashing that power from within.
Dig deep and experience the love, happiness, joy and hope of life. Give thought to all you can be and more importantly all that you thought you couldn’t be! When “I cant” wants to pop in your mind for a visit, firmly say there is no room here for you “I can” is here to stay!
