The lion in me

I absolutely love this picture, it reminds me that true strength and character of a person comes from the inside not outer appearances.
When I look back on times when I was ready to give up and throw in the towel there was always a lion in me.
When I myself looked at my outer appearance in judgment there was always beauty in me.
When I felt weak and feeble there was always strength in me.
When I felt insignificant there was always meaning and purpose in me.
When I felt unsuccessful I now that true wealth lies inside me.
There may be times when we all feel less than our true self but you must know that deep within lies an extraordinary person. We often look at each other as the flesh that we see but we are merely owners of our bodies. The real you exist in inside. The real you is not defined by your looks, past hurt, demographics, status or material possessions. The real you is yearning to be free and to be expressed fully regardless of your up bringing, traditions, culture, thought patterns and learned behaviors.
Explore your inner being and get to know the real you. It is a wonderful and glorious feeling, get to know the LION IN YOU!

howdy,
i just love your insight and the picture is the best. i allowed myself to live someone elses life for the past couple of years and am now gaining back my identity. Phew, won’t let that happen again! thanks again for your words. doreen

Hi Doreen, I think that we have all been there. The important thing is that you have realized it can now grow from it! Often times we search for external gratification and acceptance. However, everything you ever want is always within you, it just have to be unleashed!!
